Technical Requirements

Your experience will be much more enjoyable if your hardware and software meet certain minimum standards. For this course we recommend that participants have:

• A computer running Mac OS 9 and newer or Windows 95 and newer. Display capable of 800 x 600 pixels or higher. An Internet connection (either dial-up at 56 Kbps or Broadband)
• An email account (either Web-based or POP but one that can handle attachments)
• A Web browser version 4.0 and higher of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. It is highly recommend that you use IE v5.2 or Netscape 6.0 or later.

Several documents used for this course labeled with are in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). You'll need Adobe's free Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or higher installed on your computer in order to open these documents.
